The Urus is a car that defined what a performance SUV is as it came out with impressive figures and with a design that shocked the world. This is a proper speed-oriented SUV, it’s meant to be fun and aggressive. But as you can imagine, the Lamborghini Urus miles per gallon numbers are as impressive as its power numbers.
So you get an idea, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, an SUV that it’s bigger and heavier, and with a bigger engine, a 6.7-liter V12, beats the Urus in gas mileage.
What are the Lamborghini Urus miles per gallon numbers?
The Urus is a sports car wearing an SUV costume, which means that with its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine it could outperform most cars in the market without much sweating.
We are talking about an SUV that comes with 650 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, which can speed up from 0-62 mph in only 3.6 seconds and is limited to a top speed of 190 mph.
Of course, a car like this is going to come with a disadvantage, and that’s a high gas mileage.
Yes, someone who can afford a car that costs more than $200,000 would not be worried about this, but it is not only about money, it is also about convenience. Having to stop frequently in gas stations might get frustrating when you could be enjoying your Urus.
The EPA officially declared that the Lambo Urus gas mileage is 14 combined mpg, 12 city mpg, and 16 highway 17 mpg.
While Lamborghini offers the official numbers in Europe which are a combined 12.3 l/100 km, a city 9.7 l/100 km, and a highway 16.7 l/100 km.
Find below a table comparing all the consumption numbers:
Comb. | City | Highway | |
MPG | 14 | 12 | 16 |
l/100 km | 12.3 | 9.7 | 16.7 |

The gas tank in the Urus has a capacity of 19.81 gallons, however, if you count on the reserve tank then the number is raised to 22.45 gallons, which is very acceptable for an SUV like this.
The Lambo Urus is already an old car, but the new one is approaching
Note that the Lamborghini Urus is not a new car, nor did it receive a facelift in the past years.
This SUV came out in North America in 2018, and while it still looks great, the car is no anymore the fastest, the most luxurious, or the most expensive.
And this is only getting started. The Urus is beaten by the Aston Martin DBX707 when it comes to raw power. The Bentayga Speed beats the Urus in top speed. In terms of acceleration, the Tesla Model X plaid is the undisputed king of the SUV market, and when it comes to price, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan takes the crown.
The main competitors have released facelifts, new versions, or new models, while the Urus has decided to remain the same, likely due to the fantastic sales it experienced during the past years.
The good news is that the Italian automaker is preparing a facelift which will likely introduce new versions. There are rumours of an incoming hybrid version that will further improve the gas mileage of the car.
Also remember that the Ferrari SUV, the Purosangue will be released soon, and if Lamborghini doesn’t do anything to shock us again, it will likely be eclipsed by the Purosangue’s debut.
The only certain thing is that with all the past improvements in technology, the Lamborghini Urus miles per gallon numbers will significantly improve.
